2009-12-11 - A warm welcome to Alison Lee who joins the Funeral Directing staff of Steckley-Gooderham. Alison and her fiancee are moving to Barrie from her hometown of Brampton early in January. We are excited about having Alison join our team.

2009-12-11 - Early congratulations to our own Katie Gadd who has begun her maternity leave and is now counting down the days. A Christmas baby perhaps?

2009-11-09 - Recently we were excited to learn that we were the recipients of the Barrie Advance Readers' Choice Award for Preferred Bereavement Services. Certainly most of the credit goes to Bud, Linda and Kim Gooderham who have built a caring, community oriented business. Valerie and I are certainly proud to have received this honour and are constantly striving to increase not only the quality of service but the number of services available, not only to your families but to the entire community. Thank you to those of you who voted and please let us know how we can continue to improve and grow.

2009-11-09 - Hope For The Holidays - Join us at 7:00 pm on November 24th for this moving service of symbolic candle lighting and a time of reflection. Please help us in our efforts to support Hospice Simcoe, by purchasing a beautiful keepsake ornament in memory of your loved one. Refreshments will be served following the service.
