It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of dearly beloved Afsaneh (Sunny) Robinson, who died peacefully in her sleep on the morning of November 13, 2022.  She fought a valiant fight with breast cancer, while suffering with severe Ankylosing Spondylitis, and Mediterranean fever. Alas, in the end, her body had become too weak to fight any longer.

Sunny, you will always be remembered as the mother who loved and protected her children with the might of a Lion, the daughter whose sense of humour made our parents laugh so loud that they cried, the sister who was always there for Arvin and I , whenever we needed a loving embrace, the aunt who always had the most favourite treats in her purse, the neighbour whose door never locked for the countless children who found a haven in her home, the friend who hid the effects of her illnesses in order to help out anyone and everyone who reached out, and the talented artist who captured in photos the most beautiful parts of this world, its people, and our family.

We will miss you immensely. Your death has left a great hole in all of our lives, forever. But we find, what solace we can, in knowing that your body is no longer suffering the ravaging effects of cancer, chemotherapy, radiation, and medications.

Your beautiful soul will live through us, for as long as we are on this earth. Your memories will remind us to stay fervently strong for the people we love, and to appreciate the good in others, even when we, ourselves, are dealt the wrong cards in life.

May you Rest In Peace.

You will live in our hearts forever.

Condolences
