Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of the late Maria Conceição Da Silva (2024) for 58 years. Loving father of Aldonio (Teresa). Proud grandfather of Lexie (Matt).
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, August 6th, 2026 from 7-9 pm. A graveside service will be held at Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie on Friday, August 7th, 2026 at 11:30 am. If desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated by the family.
