It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing on Thursday, October 8th, 2026, at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of Roy. Loving mother of Colin Llewellyn (Krystal), Ian Llewellyn (Linda), late Sophia Llewellyn, Dawn Llewellyn, and Audrey Llewellyn-Hill (Reuben). Proud grandmother of Tinisha Harris (Sean), Akeen Llewellyn, Adonis Hill, late Isaiah Llewellyn, Roman Hill, Corbin Llewellyn, Arion Hill, and great grandmother of Mekhi Harris. Cherished sister of Teddy Greaves and Eula "Cherry" Gagnon. Predeceased by her siblings Altoro Greaves, Slowly, Zelda, Gillis Greaves, and Madge Miller. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Daisy Greaves. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Annette “Jean” was born in Jamaica, West Indies. She dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Registered Nursing Assistant (RNA) at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. Outside of her work, she enjoyed sewing, baking, painting, ceramics, and various crafts. She also had a love for travelling and enjoyed exploring new places and experiences.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Monday, October 19th, 2026, from 10 am until the time of Service in the Chapel at 12 pm. Guest are invited to remain for a reception following the service inside the lower lounge. The Interment will take place at 2:30pm at the Barrie Union Cemetery 338 Sunnidale Rd, Barrie. A livestream of the service will be made available here about 10 minutes ahead of the service start time. Donations in Annette’s memory may be made to Operation Smile Canada.
