Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre with family by her side. Beloved wife to Giovanni (John) for 44 years. Loving mother to Maria-Francesca (Jonathan), Teresa and Giuseppina (Barry). Proud Nonna to Alexander, Elijah, Sophie and Isla. Antoinetta will be missed by her brothers, Vincenzo (Rosa), Giuseppe and Nicola (Rosemary), and has gone to be with her parents Giuseppe and Antoinetta. Antoinetta will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Cosmo and sister-in-laws Cathy and Assunta, who all spent countless hours together. Zia Ninni will be remembered by Francesca, Bruna (Adam) and Laura (Richard), Christopher (Stefanie), Cynthia, Antoinetta, Joey and Frankie. Antoinetta will be missed by extended family and friends near and far!
Antoinetta was a quiet but fierce soul who loved her family with all her heart. She lived for her grandchildren, and she was adored by us all. She was an incredible wife, mother and nonna and our family will miss her dearly! We miss you and will love you forever!
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at the St, Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie, on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 at 10 am. Interment to immediately follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, 208 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie. Reception will be held inside the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers donations in Antoinetta’s name can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
