Unexpectedly passed at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Nancy Villemaire. Loving father of Heather and proud grandfather of Ianto. Dear brother of Wayne (Rodi), Judy (Red) and brother-in-law of Cathy. Will be missed by extended family members and many dear friends.
Brian was the kindest man with a gentle nature. The love of Nancy’s heart for 25 wonderful years. Brian had a lifelong passion of reading and books which he instilled in his students over 20 year career with the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board. His memory will be remembered in the pages of time.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026 from 11-1 pm. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
