It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bruna Trevisan, on Monday August 24th at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. Beloved wife of the late Stelio Trevisan (2022). Dear mother and mother-in law of John and Mary, Dan and Colleen, Morris and Diane, Robert and Julie. Loving Nonna to Matthew and Andréa, Nicholas and Sydney, Jessica and Eric, Andrew, Justin, Christopher and Lisa, Myranda and Ben, and Alessandro.  Bis Nonna adored her great grandchildren, Kali, Silas, Teddy, Julian, Elle, Gabriel (predeceased), Thomas, Benjamin, Livia and Lennon. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Pio and Beniamina Terlico and Graziella and Gustavo Liut. She will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.

Bruna loved her late husband Stelio and her family most of all. We will always remember our mother and grandmother for her love of family, her superb cooking and baking, especially her panettone, and her bountiful vegetable and flower gardens.

Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, August 28th, 2026 from 9-11 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Vianney Parish, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie, Ontario on Friday August 28th, 2026 at 12:00 pm. Livestream of the mass will be available via the Parish website at stjohnvianneyba.archtoronto.org. Guests are invited to remain for a reception following the mass in the Parish Hall from 1-2:30 pm. A private family interment will take place following the reception.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and the staff at Mill Creek Care Centre, who provided her with loving and compassionate care.  If desired, donations in Bruna’s memory may be made to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre or a charity of your choice.
