A beautiful soul has left this world. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolyn Diane Burdick (née Coughlin) on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, at the age of 78 years.
Mom was born on January 10, 1947, in Matheson ON. She was raised in the small community of Ramore with her brothers Ron, Brian and Terry. She spent 58 years with her husband, Brian, and together they built their home in Essa, where they raised 5 children and 2 of their 5 grandchildren.
She cherished country living and her commitment to family was unwavering. She was supportive, generous and kind beyond measure.
She was predeceased by her husband Brian Burdick (2024), her parents Lloyd and Ivy Coughlin and her brother Brian Coughlin. She will be lovingly remembered by her 5 children; Corey (Heather), Blair, Vicki, Justin and Joell, her 5 grandchildren; Evan, Vaughn (Cristina), Luke, Shyann, Aidan and great granddaughters; Abigail and Rose. Will be sadly missed by extended family members and many dear friends.
