Passed peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of Mike for 47 years. Loving mother of Aaron (Jenn), Jade (Jenn) and Logan (Meghann). Proud grandmother of Jordan, Matthew, Mackenzie, Cameron, Sadie and Miles. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Sadie Jackson (nee McKee) of Flesherton, Ontario. Dear sister of Lois (Gary) Paulson of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.  Very special aunt of Mandy, Abby and Danielle and their children, Brayden, Hailey, Rylee, Alyson and Nathan. She will be missed by extended family members and many dear friends.

In keeping with Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to occur on Saturday the 6th of August 2022 at St. George’s Anglican Church. Visitation to occur from 1-2pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2pm. The family is grateful for the wonderful care Betty received by Dr. Laura White, Dr. Jason Yu, Dr. Kelly Emmerson and staff at the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre. The family would also like to send heartfelt thanks to the staff, volunteers, and nurses at Hospice Simcoe for their compassion, kindness and care Betty and the family received there.  A special heartfelt thank you to nurses Kevin and Aryn.
