SLEMIN, Elizabeth “Betty”
Passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on October 6th, 2021 at the age of 75. Beloved wife and best friend of Gord Slemin. Loving mother of Bruce (Krista) and Paul (Lisa). Cherished grandmother of Christian, Bryson, Ben, Noa, and Foster. Predeceased by her parents Bruce and Gwen McKenzie, as well as her sisters Susan and Barbara. She will be sadly missed by her older sister Kathy McAlpine, along with many long-time friends.
A private family service will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at 11 a.m., with livestream available to the public via Betty’s online memorial page. If desired, donations may be made to the Toronto General Hospital Lung Transplant Unit and are greatly appreciated by the family.
