Elizabeth passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on July 6, 2025.
Elizabeth began her career as a nurse, training through Toronto General Hospital. Later, she taught elementary school with Associated Hebrew Schools. Elizabeth was an intrepid traveller who visited all seven continents. She will be missed by family and friends.
Elizabeth’s family express their thanks to Mulcaster Mews, Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, and Hospice Simcoe for the compassionate care she received in the last years of her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Simon Wiesenthal Center or Hospice Simcoe.
No formal services will be held.
