STEVENS, George - Passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, ON, in the very early hours of Monday, December 26, 2022 at 80 years of age.
George was a proud father to his three children, Mike (Jackie) Stevens, Alison Stevens, and Shannon (John) Taylor. He was beloved Poppy to his grandchildren Jenessa, Tanisha, Shaniah, Max, Cameron, Brooklyn, Taylor and Karley, and to his great granddaughter Eleven. George was big brother to his siblings Sharon (Gord), Gail (Mitch), and Gary (Joyce) and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving parents George and Margaret, and his second wife, Judi [mother of Lorri (Don), Tom (Cheryl), and K.C.]
George's family will welcome friends at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, ON., L4M 1L4, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 for visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. A service will be held in the chapel from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, with a reception to follow from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. A private interment will take place at a later date.
