It is with sadness that Glenna Ann Miller (née Bradley) passed away on Sunday, April 14th, 2024 in her 91st year at the Woods Park Care Centre in Barrie from Dementia. She was born on February 18th, 1934 and lived and worked most of her life in the Oshawa area. Predeceased by her husband, Carl Maurice Miller, of 58 years, she leaves behind her daughter, Jayne Michele, and son, Peter Cameron. Glenna had three siblings; a sister, Joy Boyd, and two brothers, David (Margaret) Bradley and Paul (Phyllis) Bradley. She had nine nieces and nephews: Joanne (Leonard) Aubin, Philip (Victoria) Boyd, Karen (Richard) Parker, Sean (Connie) Bradley, Chris (Lisa) Bradley, Alison Bradley, Leanne (Ehran) Farkendah, Angela Bradley and Diana Bradley. She was a loving great-aunt and great-great-aunt. She was loved and will be missed by her family and many friends, as well. Glenna’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 with visitation beginning at 1 pm with the service starting at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church, 550 Grove Street E., Barrie. Reverend Edwin J. Smart will officiate the service. A Livestream of the service will be made available on the website of the First Baptist Church. Interment to take place at the Oshawa Union Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Glenna’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County and are greatly appreciated by the family.
