Green, Harold William
June 25, 1943 – November 2, 2022 in his 80th year.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Judy (Johnston) (married November 8, 1969), sons Cory (Sue) of Orr Lake, Chris (friend Alana) of Barrie. Grandchildren Victoria Woodstock of Barrie, Matthew Green and Thomas Green of Orr Lake. Brother of Ruthmarie Boorman of Barrie.
Lifetime resident of Barrie. He attended Prince of Wales, Central Collegiate, and Northern College in Kirkland Lake. He worked at Poole Bros, Bell Telephone, Canadian General Electric, West Bend Hill Refrigeration, and Napoleon Stoves. Member of Barrie Badminton Club. He enjoyed family, motorcycle racing and card playing. He volunteered for many years at the Red Cross.
A family service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Steckley – Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street – Barrie. A public interment will take place at Barrie Union Cemetery at 1:30pm on Friday, November 11, 2022. If desired, donations to Diabetes and Heart and Stroke Association would be appreciated.
