Peacefully passed with her beloved husband by her side at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Monday, March 13th, 2023 at the age of 61 years. Beloved wife of Michael for 19 years. Predeceased by her parents Eugenio and Italia Trovarello. Dear sister of Adda (Romeo). Proud aunt of Sonia (Andre Gagnon) and great aunt to Zachary and Tyler. Will be sadly missed by her many cousins that she grew up with; Luciano, Luigi, Silvana, Mark, Claudia, Gino, Urbano, Luigi, Rose, Marcel, Lilliana and Pietro. Loving daughter-in-law of Mike and Bev Williams. Ivana will be missed by her extended family members and many dear friends.
Ivana graduated from Michipicoten High School, then went on to Sault College before graduating from Georgian College in Developmental Social Work.
After Graduating, Ivana loved working at Edgar Occupational Center for 18 years. When the facility closed, Ivana switched careers and spent 19 years at Kumi Canada Corporation.
Ivana loved to travel, enjoyed new experiences, and meeting people everywhere she went. Ivana was a huge sports fan, and loved her Maple Leafs, Blue Jays, and NASCAR races.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 from 11-1 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at 1 pm inside the Chapel. Reception to follow inside the Lower Lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ivana’s memory can be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and are greatly appreciated by the family.
