Josephine Woodvine Calvert
Passed peacefully on October 11th at 5:00 a.m., surrounded by family at Grove Park Home, in her 80th year.
Josie leaves behind her beloved husband David Calvert, and four children: Beverly Green (John Watson), Colette Green (Steve Novis), Steven Green (Jacqueline Green), and Scott Calvert (Amanda Calvert).
She was a cherished grandmother to nine and a proud great-grandmother to five, with one more on the way. Her family was the center of her world.
Josie will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the warmth she brought to every gathering. Holidays were brighter because of her, and her laughter and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Her family finds comfort knowing she was surrounded by love as she left this world, and that her legacy lives on in every generation she touched.
A celebration of Josie's life will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 12 - 3 PM at Fancy's, 5 Bell Farm Rd., Barrie.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Grove Park Home would be greatly appreciated by the family.
