Kevin Donald Bemrose, December 13, 1960-April 5, 2026
“Mr. Personality” has gone on his last shopping trip. Kevin passed away peacefully at the Toronto Western Hospital on April 5, 2026 after an extended cancer battle.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Shirley Bemrose. Survived by his sister Julie Hollinger (Bryan), brothers Warren (Linda), Ken (late Judy), and his twin brother Craig (younger by 8 minutes) – forever Kevin’s “special little buddy”.
Kevin loved to participate in charity work throughout the community, where he considered himself fortunate to make many friends. He was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed.
If desired, donations in Kevin's memory may be made to the RVH Auxiliary or a charity of choice and are greatly appreciated by the family.
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at the Parkview Community Centre, 189 Blake St., Barrie on Saturday, May 23 from 1 - 4 PM.
The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated and loving caregivers who have assisted throughout his medical journey, with a very special note of appreciation to his favourite Home Care nurse Gillian.
