A Livestream of the service will be made available here.

Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, mom passed from this world into the arms of Jesus on Monday, June 15th, 2026 at the age of 95.

She has now joined the heavenly choir with dad (Lyall), who has been patiently waiting for her arrival.

Amazing mom to son, Ron (Pauline) McLean, daughters, Debbie (Craig) Brinkman, Darlene (Steve) Price and Dianne.

Dearest Grandma to Adam (Marco) McLean, David McLean, Jeffrey Brinkman, Melissa (Erich) Schafer, Andrew (Melissa) Brinkman, Bradley (Julia) Price, Samantha (Tyler) Gordon and Dawson McLean.

Treasured Great-Grandma to Anderson, Nolan and Cameron Schafer, Lyla and Bennett Brinkman, Marley (deceased) and Quinn Gordon.

She will be sadly missed by brothers Frank Broley, Mervyn (Joan) Broley, sister-in-law, Berna Broley, and brother-in-law, Roger Bourgeois.

Pre-deceased by her parents, Harold and Amy Broley, brother Bob Broley, and sister-in-law’s, Flora Broley and Helen Bourgeois.

She will also be missed by her friends at Roberta Place Lodge. The family wishes to thank the Roberta Place staff, her caregivers from Touch a Heart Homecare and the staff at Hospice Simcoe.  Your caring and support will always be remembered.

Mom was born on the Broley farm in Ivy, the only daughter in a house full of sons.  She worked hard with her mom, baking to keep the men fed in addition to helping out on the farm.  She continued those traditions as she and dad raised us on the McLean farm.

Mom was very crafty and artistic, with musical talents on piano, violin and singing, in addition to painting, crocheting, knitting and being an amazing seamstress.

Mom left us all with a wonderful legacy of family, faith, compassion, and self sacrifice.   Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Monday, June 22nd, 2026 from 12 pm until the time of service in the chapel at 1 pm. Guests are invited to remain for a reception following the service inside the lower lounge. A private interment will take place at Ivy Presbyterian Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe or to the Ivy Presbyterian Church.
