Suddenly passed on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 in Barrie at the age of 21 years. Beloved son of Karen-Ann (née Rotherforth) and Carl Rozycki. Loving brother of Kerry-Ann and Joshua Rozycki and future Brother in law to Daniel Ford. Dearly missed by the love of his life Neleah Medeiros. Will be missed by extended family members and many dear friends.

Matt was an amazing man. He had so much light in him. He would share his light with everyone, and always made people laugh. He was always the first to crack the joke, always the first to poke fun, always the first to be up for an adventure. He loved adventures. He lived for being outdoors. Some of his most precious moments were spent with his dad fishing, swimming and cruising the boat around. He loved camping and being surrounded by nature. He also loved to travel, which, he would do so much of with his mom. They loved seeing new things and meeting new people together. He loved creating new experiences. He loved his girlfriend so much. They were inseparable. They were each other’s best friends. He loved spending time with his friends, his brother, sister and future brother-in-law. So many laughs were spent hanging out in the garage with his brother and best friends. Or out all being young and free together. Him and his brother were only a year apart. They hit every milestone together, they did everything together. They grew up together side by side and they always had each others back. He loved spending time with his sister and would always go to her for advice. He loved telling her all of his accomplishments and hearing how proud she was of him. He loved his dogs Thor and Tucker so much, swimming with them up in honey harbour and cuddling with them. He had so many people he loved and so many people who loved him. The amount of lives he touched is endless and his memory will live on through all those who he touched with his bright, goofy and loving soul. Matt was so smart and his intelligence played into his wandering soul and his creative mind. He loved learning new things, he always craved expanding his mind. He was one of a kind. The most famous phrase he would hear from the people he loved was “Matt there is no one like you out there, you’re one of a kind”. Matt’s memory will live on through all who love him and his legacy left behind is how many lives he’s changed.

Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, December 23rd, 2022 from 12 pm until the time of Service inside the Chapel at 1 pm. Reception to follow inside the lower lounge. A private family interment will take place at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in the Spring.
