Michael Berenguer, who loved to be called Dad by his daughter Makayla, departed his loving family on November 8th 2023, after a short fight with cancer. Michael was born in Toronto on November 18th, to Teresa and Carlos Berenguer.
Michael was a proud and loving father to his wonderful daughter Makayla, and husband to his beloved wife Melissa. Michael and Melissa had recently celebrated their 21st anniversary. He was a brother to Chuck, Rick and John Berenguer and he was a loving uncle to all his nephews and nieces, and his great nephews and nieces.
Michael had an infectious sense of humour and brought joy and happiness when you were around him. He will be surely missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, November 17th, 2023 from 12 PM until the time we celebrate his life in the Chapel at 2 PM. Following the services, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge.
In lieu of flowers, the family has created a GoFundMe page in Mike's memory.
