It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosa Pirone on Monday, June 27, 2026, at the age of 43.
Rosa will be forever loved and deeply missed by her devoted partner, Jeff Chopik. She was the cherished daughter of Ian MacDonald, whom she lovingly called "Dad" throughout her life. She was the beloved sister of Tony Pirone and Vince Pirone, and dear stepsister of Gord McDonald. Rose is now reunited with her beloved mother, Victoria, who was not only her mother but also her best friend, greatest source of strength and someone she admired deeply.
Rosa will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her and for the lasting impact she had on the lives of her family and friends. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Monday, July 6th, 2026 from 5:30 -8 pm with Prayers taking place at 7:30 pm. In keeping with Rosa’s wishes, cremation will follow.
