Unexpectedly passed on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at the Soldiers’ Memorial Health Centre in Orillia at the age of 73 years. Beloved father of Shirley (Pascal) of Halifax, Steven (Lynda) of Beeton and Jeremy of Kitchener. Proud grandfather of Chellsie, Kody, Keegan and great grandfather of Riley. Dear brother of Cathy (Don), Cheryl (the late Wayne), Wes (Rose), the late Lynda (Ken) and Bruce. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Roy worked for Purolator Courier for over 30 years. Upon his retirement he moved to Orillia and spent the last eight years enjoying his love of cooking, baking, movies, reading, playing cards and board games with family and friends.
In keeping with Roy’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion that they showed to Roy.
