Died to this life on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie at the age of 46 years. Beloved spouse of Chad Bruce. Loving mother of Abigail (Blake), Madeline and Maxwell. Loving daughter of the late Thomas Fraser (2007) and Linda Fraser-Miller and step father David Miller. Dear sister of the late Adam Fraser (2018). Dear stepsister of Jeffrey Miller (Meghan) and Jennifer Shaver (Walter). Will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members and friends.

Samantha spent a lot of her life with her ever growing family and friends. She touched so many lives in her short time in this world and many would know her as an ever happy, positive and warm-hearted woman. Sam found her lifelong best friend in Chad when they were in high school, and they had three beautiful children over the years. From there she built her life around her children and anyone that knew her would agree that her kids were the light of her life. Her life with the Lens Crafters family was one she deeply enjoyed, giving her so many lifelong friends that she truly cared for like an extended family. In 2019 Sam was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she did numerous treatments and fought a long hard battle. Throughout her battles with cancer, she proceeded to do as much as she possibly could with her family. Many arts and crafts were done, and small family adventures were taken creating lifelong memories. Chad and family will forever be grateful for the beloved time they had with Samantha.

Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 from 7 -9 pm and on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 from 10 am until the time we celebrate Samantha’s life inside the Chapel at 11 am. A reception will immediately follow inside the Lower Lounge.

In honour of Samantha’s dedication to her children, their grandmother has created an education savings account. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to this fund or to a charity of your choosing. Donations made to said education fund can be made out to Linda Fraser-Miller or e-transfer sent to linda.frasermiller036@gmail.com
