Passed peacefully at Amica Little Lake, Barrie on February 16th, 2024 at the age of 77. Predeceased by Patricia Tomlinson (nee Smith), his beloved wife of 55 years. Honoured father of David Tomlinson (Kim), and Julie Lindgren (Clint). Cherished “Poppa” of David Jr. (Emily), Jacob, Lucas, Clinton Jr., and Madeline. Great grandfather of Max Samuel Tomlinson. Brother of Bill Tomlinson (Lynda) and Frank Tomlinson.
Friends are invited to a visitation at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 6 – 8 PM, and on Saturday, March 2 from 10 AM until the time we celebrate Samuel’s life in the Chapel at 11 AM. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception gathering in the lounge. Interment at Barrie Union Cemetery will take place in the Spring.
If desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Alzheimer Society of Canada and are greatly appreciated by the family.
