GRIMMER, Sandra (nee Michol)
Passed away peacefully while surrounded by family at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on May 2, 2025 at the age of 82. Beloved wife and best friend to Bruce Grimmer for 64 years. Loving mother of Adonica Albert (Andrew), Jason Grimmer (Sue), and Jesse Grimmer (Jeanne). Cherished grandmother of Evan, Lacie (Richard), Jake, Amanda (Nick), and great-grandmother of Kenzie, Mason, Lexus, Larissa, Walker, Keena, and Finnegan. Predeceased by her father George Michol, sisters Nadia and Debbie, and aunt Irene Wilson nee Osadchuk (John).
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 10 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM. Guests are invited to remain for a reception gathering prior to interment at Barrie Union Cemetery.
If desired, donations in Sandra’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
