MYERS, Sharron Lynn (née Hamilton) of Barrie at the age of 59 years. Loving wife of Shane and beloved mother to David. Loved daughter of the late Graydon and Yvonne Hamilton of Barrie. Beloved daughter-in-law of the late Jack and Lorrain Myers of Barrie. Sister to David Hamilton (Heather) of Cold Lake, Alberta, Susan Grimard of Thorold and the late Terry Hamilton of Barrie. Grand daughter of the late Lillian and Ewart Tilley of Barrie and Bill McAloney and the late Norma McAloney of River Herbet, Nova Scotia. Will be missed by extended family members, nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 from 12:30 pm until the time of service inside the Chapel at 1:30 pm. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception gathering in the Lounge. In keeping with Sharron’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place in the spring at the Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation, Ontario SPCA Barrie or to the Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated by the family.
