The family of Jean Ware are sad to announce the passing of their mother on January 10, 2022. Jean passed peacefully at Woods Park Care Centre following a steady decline in health at the age of 91 years. The love of her life, husband William (Bill) had passed away in 2012 so Jean was lovingly cared for by family and wonderful caregivers for the last few years. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Wilma (Stan Wray), Anne (Brian Walton), Roberta (John Cox) and sons late Charles Ware (Cora), Russel Ware (Terry) and Edward Ware (Teresa). Jean and GG were blessed with many grand, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Jean is survived by her siblings Patricia Johnson, Holly Carson and Ronald Andrews. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors who resided on Shannon Street for many years. Jean was a woman of faith and was a member of the Grace United Church in Barrie for many many years. A private visitation that will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1pm – 2pm at the Steckley – Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie.  Friends are invited to watch the livestream service, they will be available 10min before the service at 2 o’clock.
