Loving brother and uncle, peacefully passed away at Mulcaster Mews Retirement Home, Barrie, on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, at the age of 98.
Beloved son of the late Charles and Marie Hallahan. Predeceased by his siblings, Dorothy Kenney (Jack), Peggy Davis (Roy), Jimmy Hallahan (Liz), Jake Hallahan (Carol), and Joe Hallahan (Mary). Cherished uncle to nieces, Lilly Wilkinson, Irene Emond, Cathy Hallahan, Kimmy Hallahan-Fraser, and to nephews, Danny Hallahan, and Jimmy Hallahan. Predeceased by his nieces, Donna Graham, Debbie Hallahan, Susan Hallahan, and nephews, John Hallahan, Joey Hallahan. Willy will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street., Barrie on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the chapel at 12:00 pm. Guests are invited to remain for a light lunch and reception in the lower lounge following the service.
Wilfred will be laid to rest at the Barrie Union Cemetery, Section I, at 338 Sunnidale Road., Barrie. Interment will take place on Monday, June 22nd, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
