It is with profound sadness that the family of Bill Hargreaves announces his death on Friday September 12, 2025 at the age of 82. He leaves his wife Joan and his loving children Clark, Grant and Paul, his beloved five grandchildren, his daughters in law Tena and Cindy. He is survived by his sister, Madeline and her husband, Larry Roy, brother Paul and his wife Jean Hargreaves; sister in law Helen Hargreaves and Patricia Hargreaves; brother in law Bob Schultz and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Anne Marie and her husband Ron Christie, Elizabeth Hare and Mary Shultz and his brothers Frank and Jack.
A private family burial will take place, with arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. Friends are asked to join the family for a Celebration of Life at Knights of Columbus Hall on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 2 - 5 PM.
If desired, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated by the family.
