Bill passed away peacefully at his family home in Springwater, Ontario, on September 23rd, 2026, at 11:03 p.m., surrounded by his wife Carol, his two daughters, and his mother.

Bill was the dearly loved husband of Carol LeMoine and loving father to Jamie-Lee LeMoine (Nestor Paras) of Springwater, Ontario, and Kimberley Cunningham-Davis (Jason Davis) of Victoria, British Columbia. Bill was also a step-father to Kevin Loftus.

He was the proud and dearly loved grandfather of Liam-James Paras, Jade Paras and Logan Paras, and the dearly loved son of Angela LeMoine, formerly of Grand Falls, Newfoundland, and the late Leroy LeMoine.

Bill’s greatest joy was his family. He loved deeply, and his family meant everything to him. The life he shared with them, through both the beautiful and difficult times, helped shape the strength, love and unity of his family. That will remain part of his legacy and will be carried forward through the generations. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Family and friends will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street., Barrie for a viewing on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Friday, October 2nd, 2026, family and friends will be received beginning at 12:00 p.m., with Bill’s funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.

Following the service, please join us at our family home at 3:00 p.m. for Bill’s Celebration of Life, as we come together to honour and remember him. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill’s honour may be made to the Convalescent Care program at IOOF Seniors Homes. Rehabilitation played a meaningful role in Bill’s own journey, helping him regain his strength and independence and return home to a quality of life he truly valued. The family would be grateful to see that same opportunity extended to others in his memory.
